Coal minning should be banned

Coal minning should be banned for causing vast and permanent destruction to US environment and exposing its people to serious health consequences such as birth defects.Obama administration officials had promised to toughen the lax environmental regulations of the George Bush era.

The grinding poverty in Appalachia, where high profit mining is mountaintop removal, has persisted for nearly 150 years. It is fueled by regressive political systems, poor education, and a repressive worldview, as well as an historic lower class position because this part of the USA lost in the horrific American Civil War and this remains as a cultural legacy not yet transcended. The economic problem that persists is creating jobs for a poorly educated hick white population while halting this tragic destruction of the natural environment, which explains local resistance by those who are employed or who benefit from this kind of environmental barbarism.

  1. You had my attention until you used the word, "HICK". At That point it was clear to me that you are just another snobbish asshole who looks down his/her nose at anyone you/she
    chose to denigrate.
